ALUMINIUM TRIHYDRATE

ALUMINIUM TRIHYDRATE  is a very finely grounded and having a uniform and controlled particle size distribution. Aluminium Trihydrate (ATH )  is the most effective low cost Flame Retardant filler and is mainly used as a FLAME RETARDANT in various Plastics and Rubber Applications.


Stearic & Silane Coated Products are also available, the coating method used is through high speed spray dried technology which hence leads to uniform coating of the particle which further results in improved  dispersion and compounding performance.

ALUMINIUM HYDROXIDE

Aluminium Hydroxide is a Finely Precipitated Special ATH. Finely Precipitated Special ATH  is one of the Largest Consumed Flame Retardant across the World by volumes in various applications. It is an environment friendly and non toxic mineral based flame retardant for plastics and rubber. Large volumes of finely precipitated ATH are used in plastics and rubber compounding for imparting flame retardancy along with smoke suppression property as well, making it an effective smoke suppressant along with a flame retardant.

Due to the uniform and extremely fine particle size distribution ALUMINIUM TRIHYDRATE imparts improved compounding performance, better powder flowability, higher dosage capability, improved extrusion speed, better thermal stability along with better output and finishing of the end product.

The flame retardant action of Aluminium Hydroxide is mainly due to the endothermic decomposition of the hydroxide Al(OH)3 into the thermally stable oxide Al2O3 at a temperature of about 200 – 220 °C. The released water vapour dilutes the burnable gases and oxygen, and an aluminium oxide layer is formed which protects the undamaged plastic and hence suppresses the smoke in the event of burning.

MAGNESIUM HYDROXIDE FIRE RETARDANT ADDITIVES (MDH)

Magnesium Hydroxide is a very finely grounded product having an extremely uniform and narrow particle size distribution as well. And is considered as an non halogenated, environment friendly and non toxic mineral based flame retardant & smoke suppressant for various plastics & rubber applications.

The initial Dehydration / Decomposition Temperature of Magnesium Hydroxide is 320O C making it suitable for applications where the usage of Aluminium Trihydrate (ATH) has a limitation due to higher polymer processing temperature of more than 180 O C.

And due to the higher Dehydration / Decomposition Temperature than ATH it is being used as an effective smoke suppressant as well in conjunction with ATH as it acts as a char promoter when used along with ATH.

Making use of the proprietary synergist technology it provides a boost in the Char Formation and helps in attaining the desired Limiting Oxygen Index Value without any addition of Antimony Trioxide (ATO )  in FRLS PVC Formulations. Calcium Borate as filler in fire retardant application

Calcium Borate is characterised as an environmental friendly mineral based Flame Retardant / FIRE RETARDANT Synergist developed as an alternative for the Synthetic Zinc Borate in order to solve the thermal stability problem accompanied by Zinc Borate in plasticized PVC Applications, along with imparting superior Flame Retardant properties comparatively to Zinc Borate.

The Fire Retardant action of Calcium Borate is mainly based upon its high Char Forming and Glazing/ Fluxing ability in combination with endothermic decomposition (Heat-Shrink Effect) and along with its inert water content (Loss on Ignition) which is quite higher as compared to traditional Zinc Borate which gives it an edge over it.

Aluminium Hydroxide is a Finely Precipitated Special ATH. Finely Precipitated Special ATH functional filler is one of the Largest Consumed Flame Retardant functional fillers across the World by volumes in various applications. It is an environment friendly and non toxic mineral based flame retardant filler for plastics and rubber. Large volumes of finely precipitated ATH are used in plastics and rubber compounding for imparting flame retardancy along with smoke suppression property as well, making it an effective smoke suppressant along with a flame retardant.

Due to the uniform and extremely fine particle size distribution ALUMINIUM TRIHYDRATE functional fillers improved compounding performance, better powder followability, higher dosage capability, improved extrusion speed, better thermal stability along with better output and finishing of the end product.

The flame retardant action of Aluminium Hydroxide functional filler is mainly due to the endothermic decomposition of the hydroxide Al(OH)3 into the thermally stable oxide Al2O3 at a temperature of about 200 – 220 °C. The released water vapor dilutes the burnable gases and oxygen, and an aluminium oxide layer is formed which protects the undamaged plastic and hence suppresses the smoke in the event of burning.

Magnesium Hydroxide is a very finely grounded product having an extremely uniform and narrow particle size distribution as well. And is considered as an non halogenated, environment friendly and non toxic mineral based flame retardant & smoke suppressant for various plastics & rubber applications.

The initial Dehydration / Decomposition Temperature of Magnesium Hydroxide is 320O C making it suitable for applications where the usage of Aluminium Trihydrate (ATH) has a limitation due to higher polymer processing temperature of more than 180 O C.

And due to the higher Dehydration / Decomposition Temperature than ATH it is being used as an effective smoke suppressant as well in conjunction with ATH as it acts as a char promoter when used along with ATH.
