UP-40 Foam Grinders

Our under press grinder was developed to make it easy to open for cleaning and maintenance. Maximizing uptime was the key design goal.

Hinged nip roll assembly opens for cleaning resulting in minimal downtime for cleaning and maintenance
Double bed knife blades designed so they can be flipped and rotated allowing for 4 cutting surfaces on each blade
Fly knives featuring specially profiled edges for easy sharpening with a radius making for a very tough cutting point
Knives bolted to our one piece balanced rotor shaft eliminating any unwanted vibration from the grinder

UP-50 Foam Grinder

The original Commodore under press grinder was developed because the offering at the time was difficult to open for cleaning and the downtime was unacceptable so we designed and built our own. The UP-50 is an upgraded version of the UP-40.

Load monitoring system stopping nips when the motor is under heavy load
