Introducing the Structur3d Inj3ctor

Now you can truly have a factory at your desk, ready to manufacture new products using production-grade rubber materials.

The new Structur3d Inj3ctor builds on Structur3d’s experience in handling rubber materials for additive manufacturing. The Inj3ctor comes with a selection of pre-filled cartridges of silicone and polyurethane, ready for any application.

From simple, solid rubber products to complicated over-molding and encapsulation, the Structur3d Inj3ctor can help fabricate a wide range of finished goods. With 3D printing, the cost of molds decreases – and if you make a mistake, simply redesign and reprint your mold! Fast turnaround times – in some cases, the same day – will help manufacturers get their products out to customers faster than ever before.

DISCOV3RY 2.0 COMPLETE

THE DISCOV3RY 2.0 TWO-PART PASTE EXTRUDER PAIRED WITH THE QUALITY AND PRECISION OF AN ULTIMAKER PRINTER

The concept of the Discov3ry 2.0 Complete was born through our customer feedback since the launch of our first Discov3ry Paste Extruder.  The Discov3ry 2.0 extruder is designed to allow the co-extrusion of two different materials simultaneously with complete material mixing just before extrusion.

Pairing the Discov3ry 2.0 with the Ultimaker 2+ line of 3D printers provides a ready-to-use 3D printing solution for the best of both worlds, plastic and two-part paste printing. The Ultimaker line is our printer of choice as it’s open source, very well engineered, and extremely reliable.

The Discov3ry 2.0 is perfect for projects that require the mixing of two components in order to initiate the curing process; this could be a two-part silicone or epoxy, or the addition of an additive or binder to a matrix material.

The Discov3ry 2.0 is a perfect tool within academia or industry, providing new capabilities to manufacturing and R&D within materials science and development, nano or biotech, electronics, and automotive & aerospace.

KEY BENEFITS
  • Add-on extruder for Fused Deposition Modeling 3D Printers
  • 3D Print with Two-Part materials like Epoxy and Silicone
  • Thorough In-Line A/B material mixing at the Nozzle Tip
  • High Quality and Durable Design for Industrial and R&D Applications
  • Available Fully Integrated with an Ultimaker 3D Printer for Out-of-the-Box use

About us

Company details

Structur3D Printing has been developing solutions over the past six years for additive manufacturing using soft materials as inks.

Founded in 2013, in Kitchener Ontario, Canada, we launched our flagship product, the Discov3ry Paste Extruder, through Kickstarter. This simple, ingenious and affordable hardware add-on extends the usability of FDM desktop printers enabling users to 3D print with more materials than just plastic filament.

Since then, we realized that people are looking for more than a hardware add on – they want a full solution that allows for both paste and plastic out of the box. As 3D printing experts, we knew how to meet this need.

Recently, we launched our Integrated 3D Printers from Structur3D which provides users a seamless out-of-the-box experience allowing time to be spent on designing and 3D printing over set up and integration. In more than 200 university and corporate research labs world wide, the Discov3ry Complete is fully integrated with the right 3D printer for your project before it arrives to you – giving you an easy plug-and-play experience.

At K Show 2019, Structur3d will be launching its new, easy-to-use, turnkey manufacturing platform for production grade manufacturing using rubber materials (like silicone and polyurethane).

All Integrated Systems and Discov3ry units are assembled in Kitchener Ontario, Canada, and every unit goes through rigorous quality control before leaving our facility. This guarantees a high quality and complete 3D printing solution.
