ECOFORTE®

EcoForte® Portfolio
EcoForte® is a family of thermoplastic compounds based on polyolefins. They are used as raw materials for the production of injection molded or extruded parts for various applications in industries such as Building & Construction, Automotive and Packaging.

The EcoForte® portfolio consists of halogen-free flame retardant polyolefins, reinforced performance materials, and peel compounds for multi-layer packaging;

Yparex® Portfolio

Yparex® is a family of maleic-anhydride-(MAH)-functionalised polyolefins. For each of its many application areas Yparex® has suitable grades.

The grades are characterized by density and melt flow index, melting temperature and the level of functional groups. Functionality for the varying application range is also obtained by using a large array of different base polymers and production technologies. The materials are produced under the highest quality standards allowing no residual unbonded maleic anhydride in the final product.

In 2005, Resin (Products & Technology) BV was founded as a spin-off from the Hartman plastics factory, a leading manufacturer in the Dutch garden furniture industry based in Enschede, the Netherlands (founded in 1983). Over time, Resin (Products & Technology) BV has built an experienced team of professionals and an impressive compounding infrastructure that currently serves a broad customer base in the building & construction, automotive, packaging and household sectors with a portfolio of technology developed around polyolefin-based compounds.

In 2011, Resin (Products & Technology) BV acquired the Yparex® extrudable adhesive resins business from DSM Engineering Plastics allowing it to expand its technical, R&D, and its customer service team capabilities. The Marketing & Sales and Application and Technical Support group of Yparex® is based on the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen, The Netherlands.

Resin (Products & Technology) BV and Yparex BV were separate companies under the umbrella of the RESIN Group of Companies. After the merger of the two companies, the cultures have grown together. In the last few years, Resin (Products & Technology) BV and Yparex BV jointly made significant investments to expand their operations and service capabilities in order to serve their respective global customer base more effectively. In 2017 they decided to continue under one new company name: THE COMPOUND COMPANY. The Compound Company has 2 product brands: Ecoforte® plastic performance compounds and Yparex® extrudable adhesive resins.
