The METRAVIB DMA+ series, is based on a very stiff mechanical test frame featuring high force capabilities in order to achieve accurate mechanical dynamic testing of relevant material specimen geometries.
Plus than a simple DMA, the DMA+ series is a unique dynamic testing platform making possible to achieve a wide range of dynamic tests with one single test machine:

- Glass transition
- Payne & Mullins effect
- High frequency testing up to 1kHz
- Fatigue testing under various controlled waveforms
- Rubber Heat Build Up testing (Flexometer mode)

A large choice of specimen holders give practical and efficient testing solutions, for tension, compression, shear and bending, accommodating with most solid materials: elastomers, polymers, composites, metals, ceramics, bio-sourced materials, etc.
The new DMA+ series mechanical test frame has been designed to follow up stiffness variations over up to 7 decades.
Such a large analysis domain is especially profitable to make possible accurate testing of stiff rubber specimens at low temperature as well as thin polymer films.
Even thermosetting polymers can be tested while curing!
Advanced algorithms make possible to apply continuously, while materials softening or stiffening, specific displacement (strain) or force (stress) amplitude with an incredible accuracy.
Frequency sweep tests can be performed from low frequency up to 1 kHz in a single test without hardware change.
DMA+ series may be equipped with thermal chamber from -150°C to 500°C which can be associated to various cooling solutions: cryogenic source, air chiller, thermal exchanger, and humidity control, immersion baths, or gas conditioning.
