M·VERA® Film Grades
M·VERA® film compounds are designed for applications where e.g. industrial composting is an end-of-life option and meet current compostability standards. All compounds have a different biobased amount. M·VERA® can be easily processed on conventional blown film extrusion equipment due to their excellent melt strength. The products are also suitable for use in coextruded films. Possible applications are shopping bags, biowaste bags, fruit and vegetable bags, mulch films, labels etc.

M·VERA® Injection Moulding Grades
The M·VERA® materials for injection moulding applications consist of a range of biodegradable biopolymers with excellent processing performance on conventional injection moulding machines. The grades have a biobased content and/or can be used as a biodegradable alternative for PP, PE, PS or ABS components. They were developed to meet current compostability standards for injection moulding applications that also benefit from biodegradability as a performance factor, such as beach toys, cable ties, plant clips, cutlery, coffee capsules etc.

AF-Eco® Biomasterbatches
In close cooperation with AF-COLOR, another branch of AKRO-PLASTIC, we can offer a wide range of masterbatches based on various carrier polymers such as AF-Eco®, AF-Color®, AF-Carbon® and AF-Complex®. Our AF-Eco® Masterbatches are biodegradable color and carbon black masterbatches certified in accordance with EN 13432 or biodegradable additive masterbatches, customised and certified in accordance with EN 13432 upon request.

BIO-FED is a branch of AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH and belongs to the Feddersen Group. BIO-FED’s head office is located in Germany on the grounds of the BioCampus Cologne, one of the largest biotechnology parks in Germany. BIO-FED uses the production and laboratory facilities of AKRO-PLASTIC and cooperates closely with AF-COLOR, another branch of AKRO-PLASTIC, in the development and marketing of biopolymer-based color, carbon black and additive masterbatches called AF-Eco® biomasterbatches. AKRO-PLASTIC and AF-COLOR are based in Niederzissen, Germany.
