RS POWDERTECH RSC-NG (ROLF SCHLICHT COATING NEXT GENERATION)

Since week 11/2019 ROLF SCHLICHT GmbH supplies the new machine generation RS POWDERTECH „RSC-NG“ (ROLF SCHLICHT COATING-NEXT GENERATION).

 The machine structure is similar to the previous model. For the RSC-NG, however, both a new electrostatic has been completely redeveloped, as well as a new filter system. We also made some minor changes that improve safety and handling.

The new e-static system is state-of-the-art in surface coating technology and shows a reduction in wear parts in the gun and cascade. The completely redesigned cascade and pistols improve the powder result.

Compared to all predecessor generations, the new system shows significantly less power loss due to the design and offers full performance even when operating with two up to four guns. In the old generation, the performance was split at two pistols.

With an additional switch, the e-statics can be completely switched off while the machine is running. A flashlight indicates whether there is still charge. The settings are made as a target/actual values.

The guns are made of stronger material and much more stable than the previous models. The possibility of electric shock due to incorrect installation of the pistols after maintenance has been significantly reduced.

Optionally, an automatic cleaning can be built into the gun, which reduces the wear of the gun. This is operated automatically by means of a program from the control unit.

The new filter system shows better cleaning results and has been designed to provide both longer filter life and easier, faster and cheaper maintenance. Spare parts costs are reduced. The new system operates simpler. This allows the integration of simple parts with less susceptibility to wear and failure.

Some more, minor changes were carried out to prepare the machine for further innovations and to improve the production processes.

We provide conversion packages for the new electrostatics and the new filter system, which will make it possible to equip the old RSC version with these two new components.

This will not be the last innovations we have set for the future. Our aim is to incorporate feedback from the customer into the optimization of the machines more quickly. We will continue to stick to the tried and tested in the future, but we are also open to suggestions that we will gladly incorporate into our products after testing.

SAGITTA Band granulator and horizontal splitter

SAGITTA band granulators have been used in different production processes by the most important industries for more than 60 years.

 SAGITTA Band granulator
The SAGITTA band granulator is a machine for granulating rubber compounds of all kinds based on natural and synthetic rubber as well as for granulating thermoplastics, such as hard or soft PVC, HDPE, LDPE, polyamide, ABS, PE etc.

 The machines are also used for granulating linoleum, molding compounds and pulp, as well as sponge rubber, silicone and pure natural rubber.

The feeding of extruders and injection molding presses with granules instead of strips offers various advantages such as blending of different compounds and thus better quality, less pulsation in the screw, lower power consumption of the motor, automatic feeding of extruders and injection molding presses.

Many manufacturers of solvent use SAGITTA band granulators because granules of i.e. 5x5x5 mm can reduce the dissolving times significantly.
There are machines available with and without automatic powdering unit. The granulation output range is from 150 to 12,000 kg / hour.

Machines with working widths of 130-1200 mm are supplied for granule sizes of
3x3 mm, 5x5 mm, 8x8 mm, 10x10 mm and 15x15 mm.

For very hard and smooth belts, the feeding cylinders are delivered in toothed execution to prevent slippage. For granulating very abrasive compounds, carbide knives are available.

 The other product range includes pneumatic transport and pulverization systems for rubber granules as well as powder feeders for the granulators.

SAGITTA horizontal splitter for elastomers - RSP 55 SX
RSP 55 SX splits elastomers with a maximum width of 550 mm and maximum thickness of 60 mm up to a minimum thickness of 0.2 mm.

- Automatic positioning and compensation of knife consumption.
- Special equipment for knife lubrication.

NorMec film splicing press - model 110-00-150

Our distribution partner NorMec will show the film vulcanizing splicing press, type 110-00-150 at the K 2019.
This press is the evolution of the reliable standard press 101-00-80 that NorMec build for more than 30 years.

All safety features of the standard machine comply with the European Code of safety EN 201. Electrical connection 230 VAC 50/60 Hz, compressed air 6 bar.

The new model has several new and smart solutions and improved construction to handle tools up to 150 mm.

The user can easily set-up all settings on the machine directly in the interface. One of the new features is password protection of the machine and new help function for the operator and maintenance personnel.

If any problems should occur, troubleshooting can be done easily and directly on the control panel.

The newest optional feature is installation of VPN (Virtual Private Network). With the VPN our technical engineers can connect directly too your machine for troubleshooting or upgrading of software.

The press is prepared for/ to operate a semi-automatic film dispenser. It is possible to splice rings with diameters as small as 225 mm.

All of NorMec splicing presses are equipped with the ”gap”-program. The ”gap”-program involves closing the tools in the press with two-hands buttons and once released again the tool opens approximately 2 mm and the operator has both hands free to insert the profiles into the tool. After this is done the profiles are locked in the tool by pushing the foot-pedal.

All NorMec splicing presses has functions that give the operator opportunity to close one and one side off the tools. This allows the operator to use both hands to hold multiple profiles when he wants to splice for instance 6 profiles in the same operation.

It is also possible to close the moulds and lock the profiles in the tool in the outer position, this make it possible to cut the profile directly in the tool. This makes it easy to achieve good angle splices when dealing with difficult profiles.

HUESTIS Air wipes and cable stripper

Huestis Industrial air wipes are used in the cable, wire and hose industry. They are quiet, highly efficient and make a profit on their investment within a short time, because the compressed air consumption is very low due to a special nozzle design.

The air misers are offered from 3 mm diameter up to 178 mm diameter. Special sizes and rectangular nozzles are available.
For the passage of knots, thickenings, splicing, etc., the nozzles open independently, so that damage is avoided.

Due to the small size, they can easily be mounted in any cooling section. The nozzles are mounted in stainless steel holders with snap fasteners. The compressed air connection is provided with a quick coupling.

HUESTIS Cable stripper
Huestis Industrial cable strippers are devices for stripping or skinning cables and wires with core or conductor diameters from 0.8 to 100 mm. In many cases, just the recovery of one drum is enough is paying for the machine.

How it works
A hardened steel stripper foot sized closely to the core diameter separates the jacket from the core. The steel saw blade rides in a closed groove in the foot. Only the protective foot has contact with the core and makes a damage of it impossible.

Furthermore a combined puller-chopper (JPC) for the cut jacket is available. This cuts the jacket to pieces of abt. 200 to 300 mm length.

PUMATECH Bale cutters and deflashinig machines

Bale cutter type PumaCut
The machines type PumaCut are automatic, hydraulic bale cutting machines of the company PumaTech, Italy. The machines are particularly suitable for cutting rubber bales in any length, cutting range and cutting height depending on the model.

 
Deflashing machine type PumaJet
This shot-blasting deflashing machine is particularly suitable for deflashing small parts made of rubber, silicone or similar materials.

The machine is equipped with a rotating drum made of perforated stainless steel. The variable speed drum is mounted by a linear guide. A variable speed turbine injects the abrasive into the interior of the drum. The return transport of the blasting medium takes place by means of a spiral conveyor with variable speed.

The parts are cooled by injecting liquid nitrogen, regulated by a valve. At the end of the cycle, the deflashed parts are unloaded from the drum onto a vibrating screen to separate the parts from the burr. Loading capacity of the drum 6 - 8 l. Operation via PC and inverter.

Alpha DisperGRADER ™ αview uses state-of-the-art technology to radically extend the capabilities of optical dispersion analysis techniques. Using a reflected light microscope designed for dispersion testing of carbon black in mixed rubber compounds, the system analyzes the shadows cast by agglomerates present in a freshly cut sample surface.

The device has an autofocus for fast and consistent analysis and captures multiple data points per sample placement.

RS POWDERTECH Next generation - model RSC-NG

We are very pleased to present at the K 2019, in time for our 60th anniversary, the newest generation of our RS POWDERTECH powder coating machine, model RSC-NG.

The RS POWDERTECH powder coating machine, type RSC-NG, has been designed for even, finely dosed and absolutely dust-free powdering of hoses and profiles, strips and cables up to a diameter of 200 mm. Different powders such as talc, stearate, lacquer powder, swelling powder, graphite etc. can be used.

In addition to a newly developed filter system and a completely new electrostatic system, a few other small improvements have been incorporated. The modifications will contribute to improved powder result, better handling, ease of maintenance and lower maintenance costs.

The new filter system shows significantly better results in cleaning and has been designed to get both longer service lives, as well as a simpler and thus faster and more cost-effective execution of the maintenance result. Spare parts costs are reduced.

The new e-static is a completely new development and corresponds to the state-of-the-art in surface coating technology. It shows a reduction in wear parts in the gun and a longer life of the cascade and continuously high voltage and thus reliable load without losses. The cascade is designed so that full power is available on two pistols.

As in the past, we have put a lot of emphasis on longevity. Therefore, it is of course also possible to convert your existing machines to both the latest generation of e-statics and the new filter system. Thus, the RS POWDERTECH type RSC NG will be able to ensure even more reliable and cheaper lifecycle of your production.
