Santicizer® Fast Fusing Plasticizers

Versatile High Efficiency Plasticizers

Santicizer® Plasticizers offer all the benefits of high solvating plasticizers including compatibility in multiple polymer systems such as Polysulfide, PVC and Polyurethane.  Because of their high efficiency, less energy is required to fuse PVC formulations.  These materials are well suited for plastisol applications, but can easily be used in almost any polymer system that requires additional flexibility and softness.

Santicizer® Platinum & Platinum 300 Series

Non-Phthalate High-Solvating Plasticizers

Santicizer® Platinum products offer non-phthalate options without sacrificing the strong performance characteristics of premium phthalate products. These highly efficient plasticizers offer excellent compatibility in many polymer systems, high plasticizer efficiency and fast-fusing capability all in a non-phthalate product.

Platinum products are high solvating, and especially capable in PVC plastisol applications. Additionally these products offer good chemical resistances and permanence to limit exudation and migration concerns.

These blended non-phthalate product balances performance and economics by utilizing the premium performance properties of the Platinum products and the cost benefits of general purpose non-phthalate plasticizers.

Due to the strong compatibility of the components, these materials can be blended to meet the specific requirements of many applications. Customers can choose from off the shelf options or customize to meet their specific needs.

Specialty non ortho-phthalate plasticizers

Since the mid 2000’s the Cereplas range of esters have been developed and are now exclusively non ortho-phthalate specialty esters for use in the plastics and rubber industries.  Part of the range is also used within hydraulic and metal working fluids.

CEREPLAS™ Adipates are used to bring enhanced low-temperature flexibility, low process viscosities, improve surface feel and texture and reduce surface resistivity. Food contact applications are a principal use (e.g. CEREPLAS DOA™ is used in food cling wraps), but are also used in floorings. The higher molecular weight adipates such as CEREPLAS™ DTDA are widely used in biodegradable hydraulic oils.

Our range of adipates include DOA, DIDA and DTDA.

CEREPLAS™ Trimellitates are high quality specialty plasticisers with low volatility, resistance to high temperature, high tensile strength, good electrical properties and processing ability. Whilst extensively used in high-temperature PVC cable insulation, their fogging performance makes them a natural choice in the automotive industry. They are also used in medical applications such as tubing.

Our range of trimellitates include OTM, L8TM and L810TM.

CEREPLAS™ Sebacates are specialty plasticisers serving niche markets, for example as underground cable sheathing in arctic environments, and in automotive sealants.

Our range of sebacates include DOS and DIDS.

CEREPLAS™ 100XS is a terephthalate ester, and an excellent general-purpose plasticiser with good heat stability and an alternative to the most common ortho-phthalate esters such as DOP and DINP.

Santicizer® Flame Retardant Plasticizers

Specialty Plasticizers Offering Fire Retardant and Smoke Suppressing Capabilities

When flame and smoke are primary concerns in a flexible polymer application, it’s often the additives that are contributing to the problem. These highly effective plasticizers are designed to maintain premium plasticizer performance while actively inhibiting flame and smoke in the occurrence of a fire.

Our phosphate ester-based materials are non-halogenated and perform with the same strong plasticizing capabilities of the other Santicizer® plasticizers; including high plasticizing efficiency, superior compatibility in multiple polymer systems and faster-fusion in PVC applications.
