Chopped Strands

Chopped Strands are made by bundling thousands of E-glass fiber together and chopping them into specified length. They are coated by original surface treatment designed for each resin to increase the strength and physical properties. Chopped Strands are used in combination with high-performance resin with a certain content, applied to FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastics) and FRTP (Fiber Reinforced Thermo Plastics) for automobiles and electronics as reinforcing materials globally.

Chopped Strands for Glass Tissue is non-woven fabric of short cut E-glass fiber. It is used mainly for building materials and printed circuit boards. It disperses in a short time in an aqueous medium, and is difficult to re-aggregate. Therefore, it is characterized by the ability to maintain a uniform dispersion state for a long time.

Milled Fiber

Milled fiber is made by cutting E-glass fiber shortly into the length of 150~80μm. It is effective in improving not only the strength, but also the surface condition and dimensional stability. It can be combined with thermoplastic resin such as polycarbonate and liquid crystal polymer, and moreover, BMC (Bulk Molding Compound) of thermoset resin is also adoptable.
