EPS is problably better known under other names such as airpop or styrofoam. EPS is used for many purposes e.g. insulation and product protection during transportation.
EPS is not biodegradable and when not compressed it often ends on landfill where the light, but expansive material creates significant problems. When compacted the EPS waste can be sold for recycling and even generate an income.

Compact and recycle PET bottles
Use a plastic compactor machine to compress PET-bottles continously and hygienically. Volume reduction of the bottles 8:1 and save money on handling and transport.
PET-bottles is the preferred packaging for soft drinks, fizzy drinks, juice and water. A large waste problem is the consequense of a wide distribution of PET bottles. For breweries the main problem is that they often have large quantities of discharged products that need to be destroyed to elimiate risks of being resold again. For waste collectors the main problem after consumption is the volume compared to weight, which makes handling and transport difficult and expensive.
Sell compacted PET bottles for recycling
A plastic compactor machine is a great solution to both these problems. When the bottles have been through the RUNI screw compactor it is no longer possible to get deposit on the bottles. In many cases the compacted bottles can be sold for recycling. Futhermore, the plastic compactor maschine reduces the volume of the PET bottles 8:1. Making the handling og transpotation of PET easier and less expensice.
RUNI screw compactors compacts and separates continuously the bottles while the liquid is pressed out into a tank or the sewage without making the surroundings dirty. To avoid bridging an agitator can be installed in the hopper. The machines are equipped with sensors for automatic start and stop and can be fed manually, via conveyor belt or tilt container. The compacted bottles are pushed directly into a container.
