Reinert-Ritz GmbH will exhibit its so far largest homogeneously extruded hollow rod, with a diameter of 2,800 mm, as well as the largest solid rod, with a diameter of 1,650 mm, at the
K International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber in Düsseldorf from 16 – 23 October, 2019.
The trend to increasingly large water pressure pipes is fuelling the demand for ever-larger connection parts, e.g. stub flanges, and fittings, e.g. branches. Especially under high stresses, fittings made from coiled tubing or even segment-welded fittings, reach their strain limit ever more often and, in contrast to fittings made of homogeneously extruded material, do not offer the necessary security. Reinert-Ritz GmbH has taken up the challenge of extending the strain limit of homogeneously extruded PE and PP fittings that are encountered by our customers, and opening up new possibilities. That is why Reinert-Ritz has significantly extended its range of tried and tested semi-finished products with large diameters, thus offering a reliable alternative consisting of extruded semi-finished material to the less trustworthy coiled semi-finished products. This results, in particular, in a significant increase in the reliability of fittings and connection parts.
