Because the characteristics of injection molding machine are totally different from CNC machine tools, universal motors cannot be applied well on the injection machine. We Foxnum Technology have developed a dedicated high-powered servo drive and servo motor specifically for all electric injection molding machine. For the injection axis, we use of low inertia and high torque motor. For feeding axis, we use of low speed and high torque motor. For eject axis, we use high speed with brake motor. For clamping axis, we use high speed and overloading motor. Our servo drive is from 3kw to 55kw. We can also do different configuration of servo drives and motors to meet customers different requests. On the servo motors, we choose built-in magnet structure to make this motor have strong rigidity and have longer life. (Other suppliers only use surface magnet mounting method) Special air tunnel design let the motor have better heat dissipation and smaller temperature rise. The most powerful thing is that we can also provide three times over-loading motor design and three times linear torque design to make it have stronger power.
In addition, we choose the best German-made mechanical encoder to be our ABS motor response device. It is different from other makers encoder. Our mechanical encoder does not need batteries to memorize the position. It has precise feedback, and can be up to 2 million high-resolution per revolution, its precision numerical computation can be up to 0.1μm.
