Rheocheck Profile Moving Die - PC


Gibitre MD Rheometer measures the cure characteristics of a rubber compound in conformity with the international standards.
The measure of the vulcanisation is carried our by measuring the change in the mechanical characteristics of the sample. The instrument permits to apply a cyclic strain to a test piece and to measure the associated force. The test is carried out at a constant temperature and the measure of stiffness recorded continuously as a function of time.

Graphic representation of the following curves: Elastic (S’), Viscous (S’’), Complex (S*), storage shear Modulus (G’), loss shear Modulus
(G’’), Curing Speed, Tan-Delta, upper and lower test chamber temperatures.
Display and printing in different colours of the relative test curves for rapid test identification. Customizable test procedure with possibility of selecting up to 20 test results to be stored and printed (see table).
Checking of whether results comply with tolerance limits and relative statistical analysis (Mean, St. Dev., Max, Min, Cp, Cpk, X-Chart, Gaussian Distribution).
Automatic generation of tolerance limits from statistical analysis (mean and standard deviation) of stored results.

Instrument Characteristics

Double screw structure with recycling of ball-bearings designed for the application of load cells up to 20 kN. A wide range of Load cells, operating in traction and compression, can be installed on the instrument.

Gibitre-TensorCheck software

The software includes a wide range of predefined test procedures in compliance with international standards (traction, compression, peeling, hysteresis, flexion, etc.) and the possibility of creating fully customized test procedures for non-standard tests.
Direct sample thickness acquisition from digital centesimal thickness meter connected with the instrument (optional) and automatic calculation of the cross-section depending on the type of sample selected.
Display and printing in different colours of the relative test curves for rapid test identification.
Checking of whether results comply with tolerance limits and relative statistical analysis (Mean, median,, Max, Min, Cp, Cpk). Compari- son of test results with the tolerance limits set for the product under test.

Thickness meter for direct acquistion of sample thickness in compliance with ISO 4648 and ASTM D 3767 standards.

Multi-Unit Automatic hardness testing system


Multi-Unit Automatic hardness testing system has been designed for labs, which need to perform hardness tests according to different hardness scales.
The hardness testing unit to be used must be placed in the front position by rotating the top part of the support. The rotating system permits to interchange the test unit within a few seconds. No dismounting or re- placement of delicate parts and no specific training are required to per- form with full safety this operation. This solid technical solution is ideal even in the case that the change of unit must be done many times in the same day.
The solid construction of the instrument, the high quality sensors and the lifting system with ball screw makes it ideal both for research purposes and for heavy-duty production control.

Instrument Characteristics

The instrument can be configured according to the needs of the customer: up to 4 units can be mounted on the same support. The available hardness testing units are:
Shore A, Shore D,
Shore A0, Shore 00, IRHD-Micro,
IRHD-Normal, IRHD-Hard, IRHD-Low.
The support of the unit is configured for the further installation of units in case free positions are available.
The Multi-Unit Automatic hardness testing system is composed by the following parts: mechanical structure, Rotating hardness testing unit support, Hardness testing units, Sample Holder with motor- controlled rotation , motor-controlled-Lifting System with ball screw, Electronic card.
All the parts, which compose the instrument, have been specifically designed for easy interchange in case of failure.

Instrument Control

The Multi-Unit Automatic hardness testing system can be controller both with Gibitre Hardness Software and with Gibitre Electronic Console.
