Turnkey Systems

MGS in-house resources facilitate single source supply of integrated manufacturing solutions.

In-house resources for engineering, design, tooling, sampling, process development, molding, automation and custom equipment facilitate our ability to be a single source of technologically advanced manufacturing solutions.

MGS Turnkey Systems are created at our Germantown, Wisconsin campus and can be transferred to the global production facility of your choice or to any of the global MGS facilities. In either case, MGS provides complete integration and training with regard to installation, debug, process development, tooling PM, operational safety, trouble-shooting and maintenance procedures.

MGS Mfg. Group has demonstrable history of success with regard to supporting all phases of manufacturing systems development, test / debug, sampling, and transfer.

MGS is vertically integrated to provide all major components required to deliver a robust manufacturing solution:

Engineering & Design
Tooling (prototype, proof of performance, production)
Specialty Fixtures (degating, inspection, decorating…)
Sampling & Qualification
Specialty Equipment (vacuum units, hot runner controllers...)
Multishot Equipment (portable injection units, rotary platens...)
Automation Systems (assembly, inspection, decorating...)
Systems Integration

Our established working relationships with a variety of equipment suppliers (IMM, robots, decorating equipment…) ensures comprehensive communication throughout project development and seamless integration of manufacturing technologies.

Facilities, technologies, capacities, and empowered personnel to ensure appropriate reaction to the dynamics of an evolving program to meet time-to-market goals.

Dedicated Program Management Teams ensure consistency and reliability of communications – with experience matching the scope of the project (design, tooling, process engineering, molding, automation, custom equipment, down stream / value-add events…).

About us

Company details

MGS Mfg. Group is a leading global provider to the plastics industry, with services including: engineering and design, mold making, development and qualification, injection molding, multishot technologies, scalable automation equipment, assemblies, and application-specific turnkey manufacturing systems.

The MGS Tech Center in Germantown, Wisconsin serves as corporate headquarters and houses two of our four tooling groups. 100 toolmakers, designers, programmers and technicians deliver over 300 molds each year, from prototype and proof-of-performance molds to high cavity production tooling systems. Plastic injection molding facilities, certified to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003 and TS 16949:2009, in Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Mexico and Ireland serve the medical/healthcare, electronics, automotive, packaging, industrial and consumer products markets/industries.

MGS is a world leader in the development of multishot (multiple material) manufacturing technologies and In-Mold-Assembly enabled tooling systems. Multishot molding adds significant value to plastic products: softtouch enhancements (hand tools, toothbrushes, razor handles, writing instruments), performance improvements via molded-in gaskets/o-rings/seals, permanent graphics through the use of additional colored resins and part functionality with in-mold-assembly techniques.
