FLEXflow, a servo driven valve gate system, is our proven technology innovation that ensures independent programmable control of the opening/closing position and speed for each valve gate pin during the injection molding process.
It meets the requirements for high aesthetic quality, removing major defects such as flow marks, pressure and hesitation lines as well as flash resulting from over-packing.
FLEXflow precisely manages flow rate and pressure both in the filling and holding phase. As a result of a more even pressure distribution, it assures a clamping force reduction and part extra-weight elimination. Consequently additional benefits will be achievable also in terms of warpage and deformation control.
Each valve pin can be programmed via a controller designed for the technology with a profile of command composed by a maximum of 8 steps, both during opening and closing.
In addition it is possible to program a further valve pin re-opening and closing within the same cycle. Currently up to 16 hot runner nozzles can be individually managed with the standard controller configuration.
FLEXflow technology brings advantages previously not available for injection molding of Automotive large-area exterior and interior parts. The prime applications are bumpers, spoilers, roof frames and interior instrument and door panels.

SLM technology enables the superior advantage to manufacture steel insert via the process of laser melting of metal powder layers. These inserts can be designed with conformal waterline channels perfectly shaped to the molding surface geometry unlike the conventional drilled straight channels. Uniform temperature of the mold is dramatically improved.
