Current developments and trends 2022 in the plastics industry

Climate protection is not possible without plastics. Because plastics have a lot of potential to contribute to climate protection. The use of wind and solar energy as well as lightweight construction would simply not be possible without it. All the parts that are needed for this are created through various manufacturing and processing methods. This makes plastics processing an important branch of the plastics industry, which will be represented by numerous companies at K 2022.

Without processing there are no goods and end products. Besides the packaging industry, the construction and automotive sectors are the most important customers for plastics. This is also evident at K 2022, where about one third of the exhibitors in the plastic goods and processing sector deal with the various supply sectors such as plant construction or automotive engineering.

K 2022 also offers numerous top-class exhibitors of products and product groups the right platform to present themselves. They bring with them the expertise when it comes to the technical aspect, such as semi-finished products and technical parts, but also recyclates. After all, the Circular Economy is also a permanent topic to which the plastics industry is dedicated and for which it is constantly finding new solutions.
