Work has begun on the modernization of Hall 9, marking one of the largest projects within Messe Düsseldorf's Master Plan. By K 2028, Hall 9 will feature a new roof, a completely renewed facade and around 2,000 square meters of additional exhibition space.
Demolition of the existing facade is already underway. The project also includes a new entrance building with additional hall access points and conference rooms. Once completed, Hall 9 will offer more exhibition space and greater flexibility.
Construction is scheduled for completion on October 31, 2027, with the hall set to enter service on April 13, 2028. This means the modernized Hall 9 will be ready for K 2028.
