Outstanding talent, promising future: As part of the pro-K Industry Dialogue, the prestigious Günter Schwank Award was presented on 26 June 2025 in Frankfurt – celebrating the ten best vocational trainees in plastics and rubber processing in Germany.
The award, presented by the German Association for Plastics Converters (GKV), honours outstanding achievements in training and underlines the importance of a well-qualified next generation. Dr Helen Fürst, GKV President, stressed: "Skilled young professionals are the future of our industry – and this future needs active support."
Awardees came from companies such as Pöppelmann, Gerresheimer, Covestro Films, B. Braun Avitum and Ensinger – representing a new generation of specialists ready to shape the future of the sector.
Total prize money: €5,000
