K 2025: ENGEL focuses on digitalisation, automation and sustainability

Mr Engleder, what does your company stand for - and what particularly characterises your product or service portfolio?

Stefan Engleder: ENGEL stands for technologically leading injection moulding solutions that combine maximum efficiency with customised customer orientation. Our product portfolio ranges from standardised WINTEC solutions to highly integrated, digitalised ENGEL production cells with a focus on sustainability and automation. With this two-brand strategy - ENGEL for tailor-made innovations and WINTEC for accessible, near-standard solutions - we offer investment-proof technologies for every injection moulding company.

What topic or innovation are you bringing to K 2025 - and why is it relevant for the industry?

Engleder: ENGEL is presenting three main focal points at this K:

1. Focus on digitalisation and AI. Digital assistants and the possibilities of AI systems in particular offer enormous potential in injection moulding. Process deviations can be recognised more quickly, thus increasing quality and productivity.

2. ENGEL will be demonstrating its solution expertise in various industries. Whether highly decorative large-surface components in the exterior of vehicles that are flooded with polyurethane, solutions for the energy transition using fuel cell seals on vertical machines, packaging solutions with recycled material or shortened validation processes in the medical sector using digital assistants. ENGEL has a suitable customer solution in its portfolio for every challenge.

3. We present a mechanical engineering innovation. A combination of flexibility, efficiency and precision. Unfortunately, we can't reveal any more here at the moment, but you can look forward to it - it's well worth it!

What would you like to talk to visitors about at K 2025 - what is particularly important to you?

Engleder: Open dialogue about practical, customised solutions is a key concern for us. We want to consider together how technological innovation can improve our customers' everyday lives - simply, efficiently and future-proof.

What do you expect from your participation in K 2025 - and what are you personally looking forward to the most?

Engleder: We expect to deepen existing customer relationships, initiate new partnerships and develop concrete project ideas. Personally, I'm looking forward to the direct dialogue - direct feedback from the market is key to our further development.
