Cloeren GmbH invests in solar energy

Cloeren GmbH has completed installation of a solar power plant at its Micheldorf, Austria facility to move towards carbon neutral manufacturing. The solar plant investment  added 200 KW of solar produced energy, allowing us to reduce C02 emissions 90 tonnes per year. 

The solar generation system provides nearly 100% of the facility's electricity needs and, on many days, provides power back to the local electric grid. In addition, Cloeren GmbH has added electric automotive charging stations and purchased electric cars used for daily transporation of necessary goods.
