First day of K-Preview

Four months to go before K 2022, The World's No.1 Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber, opens its doors and celebrates its anniversary: 70 years of K!
In June, the K preview takes place. Journalists from all over the world traveled to Düsseldorf.
In presentations, journalists will get exclusive insights into what will be presented at K in the fall.
And you'll get an overview here over the next few days through videos and photos.
On the first day the companies Reifenhäuser, BC Extrusion, SIKORA and Sumito Demag gave their presentations.

An anniversary is coming up: The K has been around for 70 years and well-wishers can immortalize themselves.
Dr. Michael Ruf and Nadine Despineux, KraussMaffei agree with their accompanying colleagues: "The K Preview is an integral part of the K, you can't have one without the other." The Preview is a rare opportunity to address many international journalists at the same time. "The Q+A session for the presentation has given a lot of positive feedback, a nice confirmation and preparation for the K", as the team reveals.
Susanne Schröder, Carl Hanser Verlag, and Ingemar Bühler, PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V., value the mutual exchange of information and have known each other for a long time from industry meetings. Previously, however, they have only seen each other digitally and are now delighted to be able to talk to each other in person at K-Preview.

Insight into the K preview session.

Dr. Thorsten Thümen and Gerd Liebig from Sumitomo Demag tell us in the presentation about "PAC-E", the prototype that will be presented at K. After a development phase of 2-3 years, it will be the company's highlight at K in the fall.
With a substantial program there is naturally healthy food for and sufficient time for discussions.

At K-Preview, Dr. Axel Tuchlenski, Lanxess Performance Materials, talks about mobility and sustainability solutions. Autonomous driving in particular is an important topic for the head of global product development.
