Efficient alternative to chamber testing - examples from the TFI (3) -- K Trade Fair
© TFI [dim_it:pic_desc]Useful tool and great complement: Comparison of emission tests performed after three days in an environmental test chamber (above) and accelerated emission testing using thermal extraction (below). Good correlation is seen between the peak patterns in the two chromatograms, both obtained by Thermal Desorption-GC/MS. Thermal extraction results in a more efficient recovery of higher boiling compounds as can be seen. Thermal Extraction is an efficient tool for evaluating intermediate or final products either in the product development stage; for trouble shooting following customer complaints; or for production control.
