KraussMaffei Group GmbH, a leading global manufacturer of plastic and rubber machinery and systems headquartered in Munich, announced today the appointment of Dr. Frank Stieler as CEO. He will replace Jan Siebert, who has led the group since January 2012, effective July 27, 2015. Siebert is leaving the company of his own accord, said KraussMaffei in a news release.
"Dr. Stieler is a charismatic leader with an outstanding track record of more than 20 years of international experience in renowned German industrial companies with a global presence, especially in machinery and systems engineering," said Dr. Kurt Kinzius, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KraussMaffei, in a prepared statement. Stieler has held top management positions at Lurgi (now Air Liquide Group), Siemens and Hochtief.
