"We are pleased to announce our collaboration with CRI Tolling to help increase the manufacturing capacity for our Agrol line of products,” said BioBased Technologies Chief Executive Officer Amy Sorrell. "CRI Tolling is a strong leader in the chemical manufacturing industry and we are pleased with this new partnership and what it will offer our company and our growing customer needs going forward.” Operating since 2003 and headquartered in Springdale, AR, USA, BioBased Technologies is focused on developing and marketing safe products that reduce the use of non-renewable resources by integrating renewable ingredients. The company offers numerous product options for environmentally-conscious customers looking to reduce their impact on the environment. Over the years, BBT has expanded its Agrol product line. Originally developed in 2005, Agrol polyols are made from a variety of environmentally-friendly ingredients including soy, cashew nuts and castor oil. Many Agrol products meet the high standard of being named USDA Certified BioBased Products. CRI Tolling is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Synalloy Corporation, a growth oriented company that engages in a number of diverse business activities including the production of speciality chemicals, stainless steel pipe, and fibreglass and steel storage tanks. "This is an exciting development for both CRI Tolling and BioBased Technologies,” said Craig Bram, Synalloy's President and CEO. "It demonstrates the responsiveness of our management team to new business opportunities and validates our expansion plans for our chemicals business, particularly at CRI Tolling.”
