POLYMER PRICE FORECASTS: Naphtha development puts upstream products under pressure

By PIE Price Team

In March, the naphtha price dropped compared with February. The oil price also remains under pressure, and its expected that the precursor products will feel the impact in April as well.

The crackers are still operating at reduced capacity. Further plants are shut down due to maintenance. However, a significant material shortage in April seems unlikely. If the chaotic US foreign trade policy continues, it will slow down global economic growth. Reduced growth leads to lower oil demand.
