Agilyx (Oslo, Norway;
www.agilyx.com) has announced the launch of Plastyx, a joint venture aimed at becoming Europes leading feedstock supplier to the plastics chemical recycling sector. The JV, a 60/40 collaboration between Agilyx and Circular Resources (Luxembourg), will be chaired by Carlos Monreal, the company said. According to media reports, Monreal stepped down as CEO of Plastic Energy (London;
www.plasticenergy.com) in March 2024 after 13 years in the role.
Agilyx said Plastyx was created in response to the challenges facing the chemical recycling industry, particularly the need for a consistent and high-quality supply of feedstock.
