Milder winters, during which Central Europe is only covered with snow on a large scale now and then. We should not be deceived by this, however: winter – in the northern hemisphere at least – is still the coldest time of the year. Which we prefer to spend indoors where it is pleasantly warm. Plastics help to keep the temperature up and reduce heating expenses.
