On April 10, political leaders, experts and companies in the sector met to analyze the impact of regulation and share success stories. Molecor will be present at this event as a key player in the defense of the industry.
The debate will take place in the Senate, where the effects of regulation and the loss of competitiveness of the plastics sector will be discussed to show the participating senators and deputies the reality of an industry made up of more than 3,000 companies, mostly SMEs and micro-SMEs. Molecor, as a company committed to the sector, will be present to support ANAIP and add its voice to this important debate.
The opening of the event will be in charge of the first vice-president of the Senate, Javier Maroto, who will welcome the Upper House. He will be joined by Luis Rodrigo, president of ANAIP, and Deborah García Bello, a scientist and disseminator, who will be the moderator of the day.
The program of the day with debates and case studies
Two round tables will be held at the event. The first will be attended by several politicians and will focus on competitiveness in the plastics industry. The second round table, Benefits of plastics in society, will start at 12.20 p.m. and will focus on presenting success stories of plastics processing companies that will showcase projects in various applications.
Among the speakers at this second round table will be Ignacio Muñoz, founding partner and president of Molecor, who will participate together with Carlos Consejo Sánchez, Irrigation Manager of Tragsa's Subdirectorate of Infrastructures and Building, representing the construction sector.
Finally, Paloma Martín, vice-president of the Ecological Transition Commission of the Senate will close the conference together with the director of ANAIP, Luis Cediel.
Molecor will accompany ANAIP in this fundamental meeting to defend the interests of the sector and seek solutions to ensure the competitiveness of the plastics industry in the future.
