Thomas Hülsmann

Managing Director | VinylPlus Deutschland e.V.

Thomas Hülsmann has been Managing Director of VinylPlus Deutschland e.V., the PVC value chain association for sustainable development in Germany, since 2014. He is also Managing Director of the associated AGPU MEDIA GmbH. In Europe, he is involved in various committees of VinylPlus®, the sustainability initiative of the European PVC industry, where he chairs the VinylPlus® Product Label Committee.

He has been active in the European PVC industry since graduating with a degree in materials engineering in 1988. For the longest time, he held leading positions at a PVC manufacturer (now Inovyn) and as Managing Director at the additive manufacturer IKA.

In addition to his industrial functions, he assumed responsibility in associations and held a teaching position at the Wilhelmshaven University of Applied Sciences.

Stephan Gesuato

General Manager Protective Solutions | Kurtz GmbH & Co. KG

Stephan Gesuato is General Manager Protective Solutions of the particle foam machine division of the Kurtz Ersa Corporation. He studied mechanical engineering at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and has been employed in the sales department of particle foam machines at Kurtz Ersa since his graduation as Dipl.-Ing (BA). He started as a sales engineer. One focus of his work was the planning and realization of complete factories with their infrastructure. In 1997 he took over responsibility for a sales region. He has been in the current position since August 2021.
