It’s now only around two months until K 2022 will be ready to open its doors to you in Düsseldorf! From 19 to 26 October 2022, some 3,000 exhibitor companies from 60 countries await you at the global highlight for the plastics and rubber industry.

The numerous specials, some of which have been running for years and which enhance your visit, are an integral part of the K trade fair, be it the special show ‘Plastics shape the future’, the Science Campus, the Circular Economy Forum or the other K special zones.

Circular Economy Forum:

Experience how a circular economy can work!

Reducing carbon emissions, conserving valuable raw materials and using plastic waste as a resource – the advantages of a closed-loop circular economy are crucial for future sustainability! The plastics industry’s innovative capacity is founded on close collaboration between business and science. Without this, pioneering technologies and solutions cannot be put into practice. The scientific community will offer interesting insights into their work at the Science Campus in Hall 7 at K 2022. Learn about the latest research findings and innovations for the plastics and rubber industry from renowned universities, higher education institutions and scientific institutes! Special show ‘Plastics shape the future’:

Follow the global industry’s future!

During K 2022, the special show ‘Plastics shape the future’ will serve as a platform for the industry’s key future topics. For example, can the plastics industry save the climate? How can it become climate-neutral itself? Which technologies can it use to realise a functioning circular economy? And what role does digitalisation play in all of this? National and international experts from the fields of science, industry and politics as well as from NGOs will discuss possible solutions and also challenges.
