IMPORTANT:

Don't forget to apply for your visa as soon as possible.

Due to the high number of visa requests, visa appointments are currently fully booked. Thus, we would like to recommend you to make a visa application well in advance for all your upcoming business travels to Germany. Visa application can be made up to six months ahead of the travel dates. The German Consulate is trying their best to honour all visa requests for business commuters travelling to shows in Germany.

While new appointments are opening up continously, we recommend you to check the availability multiple times a day. Best chances for an appointment slot is in the mornings.

Hiring Press pigeon-holes in the Press Center of
K 2022

Press pigeon-hole
Nearly every journalist who comes to the trade show also comes to the press centre. As an exhibitor, you can benefit from this facility by hiring a press pigeon-hole for displaying your press releases, press folders or to deposit USB sticks for the journalists. If you have supplies of your press releases in a number of language versions, you should hire the appropriate number of pigeon-holes via the OOS.

Important Logistics Info

To ensure that everything runs smoothly from a logistical point of view, you will find all the topics relevant to you again here, including links (see also detailed view in up!date 04):

You can easily download your parking cards as a PDF via the Online Order System (OOS), forward them and print them out. Reserve a trade fair parking spot online.

Please note that is not permitted to operate your own cranes and forklift trucks on the fairgrounds. Here you can conveniently order the offered services online direct:

FIRST is a booking system for truck slots. Benefit from this new system to control your trucks to you booth just in time.

This allows you to inform your suppliers in plenty of time. Please familiarize yourself with the traffic regulations on the exhibition grounds. You will find out when you may access the grounds, which trucks are allowed to enter.

Together with the SV Group, we offer you as an exhibitor at K 2022 the opportunity to supply your stand staff and employees during the duration of the event.

We will put together an attractive, daily changing menu for you, of course we also offer a vegetarian alternative on all days.

All rooms which are enclosed on all sides must be connected to the alarm system of Messe Düsseldorf in order to guarantee an alarm on the stand (also see Technical Guidelines of Messe Düsseldorf, item 4.4.4).

The halls of Messe Düsseldorf are equipped with alarm systems which carry out a special notification/evacuation sequence in the event of an incident.

As an exhibitor, you should inform your employees about this procedure. Please be aware that you are responsible for the evacuation of your stand.

Here’s how to be ideally prepared for any risk: with accident and liability insurance for your employees, and exhibition insurance for your stand and exhibits. Hedge your bets in the night hours as well – get technical coverage for your stand, or have it monitored by security guards. And always keep an eye on your valuable stand equipment.

Waste/Disposal

Waste disposal
It not only saves time – it also simplifies your pre-sorting: allow the experts to take care of your waste disposal. At the beginning of the trade fair, you will receive wastebasket liner sets in different colours that support effective waste separation. The service partners pick up your recyclables at least twice a day and every day after the trade fair closes. Order by 28 September.
