Everything has been different in 2020. Different from what we all expected, planned, hoped for. But in the turmoil of political, economic and personal challenges, we have also demonstrated strong social cohesion. Perhaps this is why we value the holiday spirit this year even more than usual.

Our heartfelt wishes go to you and your loved ones for a joyful festive season, with ample time to enjoy closeness, reenergize and reflect on what is important. And we wish you a New Year full of health and optimism.

Optimism also characterises our view of what lies ahead. Current developments suggest that the pandemic can be brought under control in the foreseeable future and that important face-to-face meetings can take place again.

We are already looking forward to bringing the international plastics and rubber industry back together at the World's No. 1 Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber, the K in Düsseldorf, from 19 to 26 October 2022. The registration will begin in mid February 2021.
