Preccon Robotics GmbH

Tailor-made automation solutions

industrial Robots in action
(Bayreuth/Düsseldorf, October 25, 2010) “PRECision CONcept for robotics” – the name alone says everything: Preccon Robotics GmbH, voted one of the Top Three in Bavarian industry in 2009, develops automation solutions that ensure the precise functioning of robots. The company's strength lies in its ability to develop and design individual special concepts tailored exactly to the customer's situation, from the user interface to a remote servicing concept.

In the plastics industry, maximum cost efficiency in production is also an important topic. Utilization of articulated-arm robots in the automation of injection-moulding machines thus increases the flexibility and reliability of the injection-moulding process. Simultaneously with the cycle of the injection-moulding machine, industrial robots are able to carry out additional tasks such as the handling, testing and processing of the moulded parts.

But the specialists' know-how extends way beyond the selection and deployment of the correct hardware: “We see ourselves as problem solvers for particularly challenging tasks in assembly and robotics,” says Preccon’s managing director Hartmut Lindner. He continues: “Precision down to the tiniest detail is decisive for success when it comes to complicated automation tasks.”
This is where video simulation has proved itself. Before Preccon Robotics' customers invest in the new technology, realistic simulations and off-line programming enable them to trace and evaluate the efficiency of the new production sequence, then further optimize the processes together with the team of specialists. Remote service is one of the additional customer benefits: this ensures that rapid support can be provided at all times.

The Preccon Robotics specialists have many years' experience in projects and a store of know-how in the plastics processing industry. Their customers include many well-known companies in the automotive industry.
