Schöttli: Thomas Anderegg new CEO of MTG and Schöttli AG

The Board of Directors of the Mould Technologies Group (MTG) with lead company Schöttli AG appointed Thomas Anderegg as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 October, 2012. He will succeed Martin Schöttli, who has managed Schöttli AG since he took over from his father in 1986 and spearheaded Mould Technologies Group since its establishment in 2008. Mr. Schöttli will remain with the company as a board member and will be available for special projects.

Thomas Anderegg holds a degree in machine engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) with a special focus on machine tool and manufacturing engineering as well as aerospace structural engineering and lightweight construction. After his graduation, Anderegg worked for renowned industrial companies in Switzerland and abroad. During his twenty years of professional experience, he held various executive positions with responsibility for management, sales and marketing, project planning, strategy development, IT and manufacturing. At present, Anderegg is a member of the executive Board of Netstal-Maschinen AG and Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, responsible for all five business units, the marketing department and the company's affiliations and representations. Prior to his work for Netstal-Maschinen AG, Thomas Anderegg was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Corvaglia Closures AG.
