Sanner reports record sales in 2013


Europe's economic doldrums aren't infecting Germany's Sanner (Bensheim), a maker of plastic packaging and components for the medical device and pharmaceuticals sectors. The company has announced that sales grew a healthy 10% in 2013 to reach €55 million, setting a new sales record. The results validate decisions made prior to 2013 to tweak its branding and invest in its operations, according to the company.

Sanner introduced a new slogan in 2013—Sanner. Protecting Health—to clarify brand positioning, says the company​​, and it established new product divisions devoted to desiccants, test strips, medical device and pharmaceutical packaging, eye care, and ready-to-fill syringes. It also developed some new patent-pending packaging concepts during the past year.
