SAUDI ARABIA: Satorp facilitates Advanced PC's PP boost with increased supply of propylene feed

The two companies had earlier agreed to the supply of 50,000 t/y of propylene for a period of three years starting in January 2014. The new agreement for the increased amount is for a period of five years and was expected to take effect this past January.

Satorp, a joint venture of Saudi Aramco (62.5 %) and Total (37.5 %), recently completed a USD 12.8-billion complex in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, that includes the production of 450,000 t/y of PP.
