SAUDI ARABIA: Sabic agrees to additional funding for research projects at KAUST

Under the MOU, Sabic will commit to at least 10 research programs totaling around SR 10-million. "The research at KAUST holds considerable promise for improving lives, promoting sustainability initiatives, and building excellence in science and technology," Sabic explained.

The Catalyst Center and Nanotechnology Initiatives will provide technical support to Sabic in numerous fields, including chemical and polymerization processes.

With this MOU, and research collaboration agreements signed between Sabic and KAUST in 2011, Sabic's total investment in KAUST now exceeds SR 17-million.
