Polymer-based prefilled syringe minimizes drug/container interactions

At Interphex 2015, which was held in New York City on April 26 to 28, the company featured its new polymer prefillable syringe. The TopPac SD is designed to improve the safety and stability of sensitive drugs, according to a company press release.

"As more sensitive drugs enter the market, the need for high-quality, reliable packaging becomes increasingly important," said Anil-Kumar Busimi, Head of Global Product Management, Syringes Business, in the news release. The TopPac SD syringe provides pharmaceutical manufacturers with a trustworthy solution for their sensitive drugs and supports patient safety, he added.
