Mauser improves and expands its Brazilian recycling efforts

Industrial plastic packaging processor Mauser has expanded the company's reconditioning plant in Brazil. By opening a new factory building adjacent to its facility in Taubaté, near São Paulo, the company's reconditioning / recycling business unit Mauser NCG will be able to offer full recycling services to its customers in the region.

In answer to a question from PlasticsToday, Mauser (Bruehl, Germany) confirmed that recycling capacity at the new facility would be about 200 tonnes/month. At its new recycling facility, Mauser subsidiary National Container Group (NCG) will be able to recycle all types of industrial packaging made of high-density polyethylene - from 0.5 liter bottles up to 1000-liter Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) - and transforms it in pelletized recycled resin.
