Under the title “Compounding of highly-filled polyolefins”, Maag Pump Systems, K-Tron, OMYA and Reimelt Henschel sent out an invitation to a one-day seminar in both Singapore and Shanghai. In several presentations, the latest technologies, methods and components were unveiled for improving existing processes and operating new compounding systems as efficiently as possible. The seminar met with considerable interest from its target audience. Up to 130 trade visitors attended each of the seminars.
The seminar illuminated various topics, such as advanced minerals, material handling guide lines for pneumatic transportation and gravimetric feeding systems, dosing systems, extruder technology and the use of gear pumps to boost the efficiency of the compounding system. The speakers were keen for customers to gain a comprehensive overview of compounding processes.
“The brisk discussion between and during the presentations showed that these seminars truly met the needs of the market”, confirms Stefan Kalt, Director of Product Management and Innovation at Maag Pump Systems, echoing the positive mood of the event. “The trade visitors were very interested in finding out about specific solutions for their existing systems or new projects.”
The event organisers have understood the market’s wishes, and are planning further similar seminars in the future.
