Toughblend

Reinforced Compounds

ToughblendTM compounds is made from a wide selection of base resins blended with reinforcers such as glass fiber, glass beads and carbon fiber. ToughblendTM compound is an excellent alternative to metal in application for products require improved mechanical properties, special toughness, dimensional stability, temperature and chemically resistance.

As compared to neat resins, ToughblendTM offers spectacular improvements in terms of tensile strength, toughness ad other properties. As compared to metal, ToughblendTM allows product engineers more freedom to design injection molded parts with the benefits of lighter part weight which leads to better cost competitiveness. Most ToughblendTM compounds also come with some other properties such as flame retardant, wear resistant, lubricated and colour.

Wear Resistant Compounds

SmoothblendTM wear resistant compounds offer superior lubricity by incorporating PTFE, Silicone and / or aramid fiber for applications demanding stringent wear resistant properties such as mechanical gears and moving mechanical parts. SmoothblendTM compounds is also formulated to meet stringent mechanical and thermal properties by incorporating reinforcing and / or mineral fillers. moothblendTM compounds are made from engineering thermoplastics such as Acetal, Polycarbonate, Nylon, ABS, PPO etc.

This compounds help eliminate tedious and time consuming jobs relating to frequent physical external surface lubrication of machine and equipments moving components which results in highly durable and hassle free performance. FRblend

Flame Retardant Compounds

FRblendTM is CIPC's line of flame retardant compounds with FR UL94 ratings from V-1 to V-0 at 1.6mm and 0.8mm thickness mainly for electrical applications such as circuit breaker, socket backplate, electrical bobbin etc. Besides the flammability concerns, our engineers also formulate FRblendTM to meet other stringent properties such as flow characteristics, thermal stress, excellent impact strength by incorporating additives and/or fillers. ElectroblendTM is CIPC's line of conductive and statically dissipative compounds by incorporating electrically conductive and/or reinforcing filters such as carbon fiber and stainless steel fibers to produce compound with its resistivity range from 100 to 1000 ohms/sq mainly serving the electronic packaging and business machines markets. The key features of ElectroblendTM compounds are to protect against static buildup and to insulate against current leakage. Typical applications are IC chips tray, tweetzer, carrier tape etc.

Colour Image Plastic Compound (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (CIPC) is a high tech company specialise in developing and selling high performance engineering plastic compound.CIPC was formed in November 2000 as a wholly owned subsidiary company of Idealpoly Corporation Sdn Bhd. Initially CIPC has just started selling normal pre coloured ABS and HIPS unfilled material for one of the renowned Japanese air conditioning manufacturer. Due to our quality consistency and competitive pricing, CIPC has been appointed by Total Petrochemical South East Asia as a long term UL recognized toll compounder for some world class companies such as Hewlett Packard, Sony and Matsushita.

In March 2002, CIPC started to venture into developing manufacturing high end engineering plastic compound. Our manufacturing plant is situated in Balakong industrial park, Selangor with a total production capacity of approximately 28,000 metric ton per year. Our engineering plastic compound mainly supplying to electronic, automotive, electrical home appliances, construction, communication and sport equipment market.
