Founded in 1949 by Maurice FRANCART and André EMRINGER, Francem then specialised in the design and manufacture of moulded parts for general applications.
In 1970, the Company developed a new process- extrusion - and steered its activity towards the automobile sector (Marchal, Cibié, Seima). With the increase in activity, the Company had to move premises in 1983. The production site increased in size from 400 to 10,000 sq.m. of covered buildings on a 6-hectare plot, with over 100 employees.
Francem mainly designs, manufactures and sells alveolar and solid profile for the automobile, household appliance and construction industries. Now, through equipment manufacturers, our Company takes part in projects involving 80% of car manufacturers and more than half its total sales (57% in 2012) are from exports to Europe, the USA, Canada, Morocco, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, China, India and Australia.
