INTERMEDIATE FILTERS / COUNTER PRESSURE FILTERS

The intermediate filter separates the raw gas in the intake section. The cleaned air can then be fed back into the work areas. The benefit of the NESTRO intermediate filter is that it can be expanded to an airflow rate of over 200,000 m³/h, as it consists of individual modules. This means that the filter can be expanded at any time.

Equipping the intermediate filter with the NESTRO counter pressure system (vibration plus scavenging air) ensures continuous operation: Counter pressure filters are also equipped with scavenging filter air for continuous cleaning. Every filter element is isolated as a separate chamber when cleaning. This ensures that the filter is ready for operation 24 hours a day! This combined scavenging air/valve technology blasts air through the filter tubes from the outside in. The motor-operated cleaning system provides active support. The scavenging air is taken from the dry return air, because the moisture in the external air intake would block the filter tubes. The lining does not come into contact with the filter tubes during vibration, ensuring that no wear is caused.

CEILING-MOUNTED FILTERS

NESTRO ceiling filters are designed as bunker installation filters and bunker-mounted filters in 28 different sizes with filter areas of between 18 m² and 800 m². The uniformly graduated modular system ensures that the right filter area is available for any volume of air. This modular design means that an extension can be performed at any time.

The ceiling filter is delivered as a bunker installation filter without lining or as a bunker-mounted filter with weather-proof lining. All ceiling filters are delivered with automatic filter regeneration and can also be equipped with all NESTRO safety devices (smoke detector, extinguishing system, ladder, ex. valves, walkway, etc.).

JET FILTERS: GUARANTEED FREEDOM FROM DUST

he NESTRO jet filter is used as an intermediate filter to remove various dusts. It may be used on either the clean gas or the raw gas side and is the perfect solution for 24/7 operation.
The modular element design allows the length to be configured in stages (1,180 mm) while the width remains the same (2,400 mm). The fully-automatic valve control with controller guarantees the optimal regeneration of the filter system. Cleaning is performed depending on the differential pressure, which reduces the compressed air consumption to a minimum.
The filter unit consists of the filter disc, filter tubes or filter cartridges and preliminary separation chamber. The filter area amounts to between 74 and 144 m² per element depending on the type and length. The selection of the filter media depends on the transported material as well as the exhaust airflow. Reliable compliance with the TA-Luft (Technical Guidelines on Air Quality Control) limit values is ensured.

Stability, safety and convenient handling are just some of the strengths of the NESTRO jet filter.
The weather protection lining protects the filter system against weather influences. It is also used as a load-bearing component for the tube suspension. The design enables a targeted exhaust airflow and the vacuum operation of the system. All parts of the system can be easily and safely accessed. This minimises service costs.

About us

Company details

When Paulus Nettelnstroth founded the NESTRO industrial air ventilation company in 1977, he never dreamed that his company would be among the largest three system specialists for extraction and filtering in Europe one day. He certainly hadn't also anticipated meeting the demand for innovative solutions - engineering "Made in Germany" - in the field of heating, surface processing and sorting and waste equipment with his team and having such fabulous success in the coming century.
Today, more than 150 employees work at headquarters in Schkölen, at the technology center in Röllbach (both in Germany), in the three European manufacturing sites as well as in the most important international markets in order to ensure the sustainable growth of the NESTRO corporation. We want to continue to stay focussed on our core business and to provide customers in the very many different industries with innovative system solutions tailoured to their needs.
