ABS is made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. ABS has good impact resistance, toughness, dimensional stability, glossy surface and is easy to machine. A variety of modifications can be made to improve impact resistance, toughness, and heat resistance. It is used in injection moulding and extrusion.

NYLON 6 / NYLON 66 ( PA 6 / PA 66 )
Nylon 6 - is made from polycondensation of caprolactam. It is also called as Polycaprolactam , Polyamide or PA 6. It is a semicrystalline polyamide and has good weldability. It is used in injection molding, blow moulding and extrusion.
Nylon 66 - is made from polycondensation of adipic acid with hexamethylene diamine. It is also called as Polyhexamethylenedipamide, Adipic Acid Hexamediamine Polymer, Polyamide 66 or PA 66. It has very high melting point, high tensile strength, elasticity, toughness and abrasion resistance. It is used in injection moulding and extrusion moulding.

It has a balance of useful features like temperature resistance, impact resistance and optical properties. It is used in injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion.
