TCIs belting materials for food and packaging are designed to meet the challenges of temperature, corrosion, and wear and tear, in order to minimize costly downtime, and maximize run time. TCI offers belting materials for use in sealing machines, contact grilling applications, industrial conveying and food processing.
TCI belting materials feature corrosion-resistance and compliance with the FDA Standard 21 CFR 177.1550 for food contact. These materials are compatible with any chemical environment and are easy to clean and unaffected by cleaning chemicals.

CrossFilm™ Containers and Food Preparation
TCI manufactures PTFE molded products, trays, and liners designed for food contact in commercial cooking and baking. CrossFilm Cookware™ is a series of PTFE molded products engineered to function optimally and outlast competitive products in high temperature environments, even with repeated use. CrossFilm Cookware features excellent abrasion resistance, strength and durability, as well as even temperature distribution.
PTFE Tortilla Press Belting

TCIs CrossFilm Conveyor provides exceptional transfer of product around very small diameter rolls. The all-PTFE CrossFilm™ conveyor belt is FDA and USDA-approved for food contact. The rugged, pre-spliced belt is designed to slip on the machine in minutes and last for months while in service.

The revolutionary design of Hybrid™ Sealing Belts provide the first major improvement in sealing belts in over 20 years. This advanced technology creates a longer-lasting and wear-resistant belt, allowing for faster and more efficient lines.
CrossFilm™ Flexible Connectors and Bellows are made with a flexible, multi-layered, 100% PTFE material. The heat-sealed design involves no stitching and maintains zero-porosity traits even after severe flexing that usually destroys fiberglass-backed materials. Because the material is all-PTFE, chemical attack is not a concern even in the most corrosive environments.
Available in round and rectangular shapes in an open-ended or closed form, CrossFilm flexible connectors can also incorporate numerous types of end attachments. This product is rated for 600°F and is available in thicknesses ranging from 5 mils to 60 mils. Since it is all-PTFE, it can be used in most industrial settings such as chemical processing, pharmaceutical, clean room, and food processing. The product is non-combustible and unaffected by ultraviolet exposure. It is also available with or without pigment and anti-static properties.

CrossFilm™ flexible connectors are ideally suited for corrosive and/or high temperature environments ranging from chemical manufacturing to delicate weighing applications. This includes applications requiring a flexible joint, sleeve or connection, in process applications where the transfer material contains, or the flexible connectors is exposed to, solvents, caustic, acids and elevated temperatures.
These flexible connectors can be fitted to pneumatically operate cylinders in a manufacturing environment or a flange connection on a pipeline that has to be protected from environmental exposure.
Using a non-porous, all-PTFE material, CrossFilm™ Spray Shields guarantee performance against harmful spray out and leakage regardless of the severity or duration of chemical exposure.
Many materials used for spray shields, like PTFE coated fiberglass, can be weakened by challenging industrial environments and often require monitoring. With a CrossFilm spray shield, the body and drawstrings are all made of 100% PTFE. This ensures that worker safety will not be jeopardized by degraded materials in the event of a spray-out at a flange.
Since the CrossFilm spray shield will be unaffected by even the most corrosive chemical environments, chemical capability tables do not need to be referenced.
The translucent material used in a CrossFilm spray shield allows safe and easy detection of moisture leakage at a flange. If leakage does occur at the flange, the spray shield can be cleaned and reused without concern for weakening due to chemical attack.
CrossFilm spray shields can be used in a pH range of 1-14 and a temperature range of - 100°F (-73°C) to 600°F (316°C). The versatility and cost-effectiveness of this type of spray shield allows it to be used in almost all industrial settings such as marine, offshore, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, FDA-approved, cryogenic, and clean room applications.
