M-L series - Long stroke IMM

M-L Series is the LONG STROKE version of the M-N series and features a specific version of the patented reversed toggle, which allows the moving platen to stroke considerable more distance in comparison with any traditional IMM toggle, without adding extra length to the machine itself.

The M-L series is the perfect solution to manufacture long items such as garbage bins, chairs, large containers, box pallets, etc. and it is a valiant alternative to two-platen machines anytime a short cycle time is relevant.

HYBRID

The HYBRID is an injection moulding machine with full-electric clamping operated with high tech rollerscrews, and an electric in line servomotor to drive the plasticizing screw, while all other motion are overlapped through an hydraulic accumulator that stores the excess of delivery.

In order to optimize the performances of the hydraulic circuit only gear pumps are used, because they can maintain a controlled flow even at very low idle speeds, preventing any excess of delivery just to return into the tank. The size and power of such pumps can be calculated as a tailor-made application, customized upon the particular need of every customer, in order to achieve the best possible efficiency: the prevalence of the accumulator is then used as potential energy during motion-less phases needing pressure, such as the holding phase, during which the energy saving management can even shut off motor-pumps.

Full power is still available for fast injections, thanks to the accumulator booster.

The pump motor can proportionally control core pullers, ejection and injection, with the help of the inverters and the digitally controlled servo-valve.
The drive of all electric motors is performed by dedicated high-tech inverters controlled by special software developed internally by Maicopresse engineers.

This technology allows performances, in terms of injection speed, far beyond the reach of the all-electric applications, and specific consumptions as low as the best ones of them, while conserving all the flexibility of the common hydraulic IMMs.
