The range of fully electrical machines in the eMC series is designed and built by BMB in 5 models from 70 to 200 tons clamp force.
These machines were designed and dimensioned for the production of technical items and in particular for all those applications where precision and repetition are specifically required.
To be a long term solution a new model must not only meet market demands but also take future developments into account. The advantages of fully electrical machines in terms of energy savings, precision and production quality are so convincing that they revolutionise the assessment parameters for investments in the next few years.
And the force behind such reasoning pushed us to develop a series of machines that represent a completely new proposal for the market.
Sometimes it is difficult to improve what is conceived and developed with the aim of achieving perfection.
We could never have imagined in the 90's, when the KW series with its famous, patented clamping unit, was introduced that it would still be considered innovative in today’s highly sophisticated market place.
Not only for the clamping unit, with its state of the art solutions, but the entire project which immediately became a model to follow and, in some cases, copy. Over time, the clamping/injection combinations have multiplied and managed to surpass almost all customer requirements. The BMB Research & Development department has constantly brought about improvements so that currently the injection machine shows higher performance, robustness and reliability than those on the market. We have made it simple to set and manage using a colour touch screen microprocessor so that the operator can use his most natural tool: the finger. We have increased the thickness of the platens, the dimensioning of the pump and gears, the equipment supplied in series and the details that made the difference, such as the thresd rolled tie bars and the bronze nuts in sturdy nickel-chrome-molybdenum, both tempered and chromed.
We therefore invite you to discover the greater details.
The KX series by BMB was established to meet market needs for larger clamp force machines with particular features, thereby completing the extremely comprehensive range of existing products.
The generous platen dimensions and the long opening strokes provide innumerable possibilities to install typical moulds, for example in the automotive sector. To ensure a perfect guide in the movement of the moving platen, the lower tie bars are ‘fixed’ to the base and enable a further guarantee of mechanical robustness. Despite the overall size of the project, our KX series offers contained and compact sizes.
For years this series of machines has been the protagonist of special technology dedicated to the production of thin wall, fast cycling products. Working in close collaboration with the manufacturing companies and the mould producers lead to mutual improvements being achieved in the end result.
The manufacturing costs are determined by the possibility to produce parts with certain features and the capacity to reproduce the results obtained consistently. The Pi series machines unite the best features to produce the “technical" pieces with maximum conditions to increase productivity. Only by having greater repetition can we produce “packaging" items with elevated and constant cycles and therefore in an "economic" manner. Only when the mechanics, hydraulics and electronics come from the same "source" can you reach the maximum output of the machine overall.
This was the winning choice for BMB in recent years.
