Processes within the plastics industry place high demands on machines and require materials that do not leave marks on delicate surfaces. For instance, hot plastic parts may need to be handled or parts may need coating post-production. Curved or structured surfaces and tight radii are not uncommon either. Furthermore, the need for ever more limited cycle times and high cost pressure have led to companies having to automate all peripheral equipment around their injection moulding machines.
FIPA is well-equipped for this challenge with a comprehensive range of gripper components optimised for the plastics industry, complete with customer-specific solutions.
FIPA’s range offers sprue grippers with HNBR-coated jaws, featuring all the technical advantages of our Thermalon® cups. Both the grippers and the vacuum cups are heat-resistant up to 160 °C, highly abrasion-resistant and free of paint wetting impairment substances (PWIS) or silicone. Ideally suited for use on plastic parts which will undergo coating or painting subsequent to production.
FIPA plans and designs customised gripper systems for the plastics industry. All products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards, thus guaranteeing process-reliability and effectiveness for our customers. In addition to this, we maintain close links with our customers, which has helped us to develop a deep understanding of their respective needs. Our continual work on product redevelopment and further development are testament to this. The end result of this is products which stand out as a result of their high quality, functionality and innovation.
