Temperature cycling tester on waste water systems model 1268

A test according to EN 1055 concerning temperature change in an unpressurised system is unavoidable when sewage piping systems made of thermoplastic material are used inside buildings.

The new temperature change test device for sewage systems (unpressurised) provides you with a system for testing the tightness of sleeve connection and the sag between fixed and loose supports at different temperatures.

IPT provides a test device that is controlled with an integrated touch display as well as the appropriate seals for the tightness tests. Fixed and loose supports for fastening pipes are also included in the delivery scope. The flexible installation options of the test sample system save time and have demonstrated excellent results in applications with sewage systems. The device has 2 separate cold- and hot-water tanks. The device also has a steplessly adjustable and controlled volume flow of 10 to 40 l/min in order to ensure the flow required.

Temperature cycling tester

The newly developed IPT temperature change test devices allow tests according to DVWG W 534, 542, 543 as well as EN 12293 to determine the resilience of pipes made of thermoplastic materials and mouldings to temperature change stress up to 95°C. The pressure store version of the IPT test device is also well-suited for increased test temperatures up to 114°C and tests according to BS 7291.

The new device generation allows simultaneous testing of up to 6 test sets, depending on the version. Even samples with large volumes and pipe dimensions up to DN 160 can be subjected to a temperature change tests according to the standards. The technology used by IPT allows test pressures up to 16 bar. The pressure and flow through each test sample can be individually controlled for each test set.

The test parameters are automatically controlled and all important functions of the test device can be read and adjusted on an integrated touch display. IptDataLogging® is the optimal test software for parameterisation and presentation of the test progress and the test results.

Tensile creep tester for fluid tests (FNCT) model 1719

An important test for polyethylene is the determination of the tension creep tear resistance on samples with a circumferential notch (FNCT = Full Notch Creep Test) under media influence according to ISO 16770. 

IPT offers a compact table device that has 6 individual test sets. The integrated touch display can be used for individual monitoring of each station. The test samples are loaded by manual positioning of weights. The test device was designed to ensure that each test set can easily be picked up from the test basin. Special recirculation ensures that the test basin has a constant temperature and that each test sample is immersed in an even and constant flow. The filling level in the test basin is monitored and shown at the touch display. 

Model 1719 can be optionally integrated into the IptDataLogging® test software.

Methylene chloride model 1556

The quality of plasticiser-free polyvinylchloride pipes is determined by their resistance to dichloromethane at a specified temperature according to EN 580 and their resistance to methylene chloride at specific temperatures according to ISO 9852. IPT has developed a new device for these chemical test methods:

IPT only uses high-quality materials and the most modern, high temperature-resistant substances for the production of the Model 1556 in order to achieve a long service life, short heating-up times, maximum temperature control accuracy and minimum energy consumption. Airless ProfessionalLine model 1720

IPT is introducing the internal pressure creep and rupture test device Airless ProfessionalLine Modell 1720 for tests according to ISO 1167, ASTM D 1598 and ASTM D 1599.

The modular structure combines maximum user- and service-friendliness with easy extendibility and corresponding flexibility. This device provides maximum accuracy and reliability. Test pressure of up to 600 bar can be generated and accurately controlled, depending on the configuration.

Model 1720 can be integrated into the IptDataLogging® test software. The test device is also available in a stainless steel version on request (free of copper ions).

Hydro Pulsator Model 1766

The pulsator is used to test the resistance of connections made of thermoplastic pipes to pressure change stress according to EN 12295, DVGW W534 und DVGW W543.

The new hydro-pulsator is a further, important milestone for our hydro-pulse tests. Pressure pulses with high pressures (up to 500 bar) and large test sample sizes can be performed with automated breakage detection using low-noise pressure pumps. There is an option for recovering the energy stored in the system. 

Self-optimising control ensures adherence to strict tolerance limits The progression of the pressure can also be graphically documented when an IptDataLogging® unit is connected.
