Injection Blow Molding

Why Injection Blow Molding
The injection blow molding (IBM) process produces billions of plastic containers each year. Ranging in size from 1 ml to 2 liters, these containers  meet exacting standards of consistent weight, volume and tolerance, and are popular around the world for a myriad of applications from pharmaceuticals to toiletries to automotive to household use.

About us

Company details

Jomar Corporation has grown in leaps and bounds since founded in 1968 by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Mary Johnson.

We started in a two car garage in Brigantine, New Jersey and now operate out of our 45,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

Through the first 3 years Jomar offered machines only in the 25-30 ton range. But, as the markets turned to the Injection Blow Process, we had to increase the machine sizes to accommodate larger containers and more of them.

We now have machines up to 175 tons.
In the beginning, all of our customers had to source the tooling on their own because we did not offer mold design or mold building services.

This created a situation of "who was responsible" for the end product. We quickly responded to this need by establishing our tooling department in 1972.

This service gave our customers the option of sourcing the tooling on their own or to purchase a "Turnkey System" from Jomar.

Today, Jomar procures more then 30 molds per year. Many of these Turn Key Systems are purchased by first time buyers or long time clients who want to buy the Jomar guarantee.

Let's face it; the people who were trained for design, processing and mold building are just not out there anymore.

Time is money! The more time you spend procuring, testing and developing your own tooling, the less profit you will have.

Let Jomar's trained staff take this burden off you.

Jomar has lasted a long time in a difficult marketplace because of our outstanding service departments. As I have said before, "Our customers' job is to make containers"; our job is to keep your machines and molds in operation.

We only ask that you allow Jomar quote your next project.

We want to share our dependability and experience with you.

Sincerely,
William A. Petrino
